Hi I’m Aliex, a mum of two amazing wild ones and wife to a wonderful, kind man who puts the funny into comedy TV shows.  I am a Level 3 Forest School Practitioner and sometimes I help make kids TV shows too.

Together we are Happy Wild Ones.

We love how nature makes us feel and we are passionate about travelling the UK, family adventures, playing outside, cooking pizza in our outdoor pizza oven, laughing lots and always dreaming of the next roadtrip in our van.

In 2019 we spent every last penny of our savings buying a caravan. Packed up our house, rented it out and set off on a two month Summer road trip around the beaches, woods and wilds of the West coast of Scotland. It was without doubt one awesome epic experience. It cemented our love of van life, our love of Scotland and our love for each other AND I was really super chuffed to be asked to write about it for Lonely Planet!

So I am passionate about helping kids love the outdoors, spending time outside does make you feel good and I love helping people to feel happy.  I currently run Happy Wild Ones parent and toddler forest school play sessions and I am working hard to make some free sessions available for adults with mental health issues too.

After winning a BAFTA making CBeebies Springwatch many years ago and working with Sir David Attenborough I still spend a lot of time dreaming up new kids nature tv show ideas so my fingers are always crossed for that next commission!

Until then you can find me playing in the woods with the Happiest of Wild Ones!

Really hope you can come and join us soon! x
